To act as a nodal
agency foe augmenting the power generating capacity (main
infrastructure facility ) in the State of Gujarat through
joint/private sector participation.
To identify power
projects based on different fuels and prepare techno-economic
feasibility reports for such power projects.
To obtain various
approvals from statutory and non-statutory authorities for the
power projects identified and offered for private sector
participation.
To prepare a
power system master plan for the State of Gujarat.
