Smart Goals 2008 – 09
 

1. Kutch Lignite Thermal Power Station Unit No. IV (75 MW) will be commissioned in 2008.

2. Utran Gas based combined cycle extension Unit No. II (370 MW) to be synchronized by March 2009.

3.  60 New Sub-Stations to be completed.

4. GIS may be started in 40 new towns. (Ten by each Discom)

5. Installation of 600 Nos. of Solar photovoltaic street lights in various Nagar Palikas in the State.

6. Release of 50,000 new domestic PNG connections: Across various cities of Gujarat.

7. Gas Grid Project – Expansion New Pipelines: Halol, Khambhat, Surendranagar, Chotila, Limbdi, Jamnagar, Dharampur, Godhara.
